Procrastination is, in essence, a skill that even though everyone possesses, few can actually abuse it to the level that the highly advanced do. Even this update was a victim of procrastination, passing through several hands and finally onto me before it is now being done up. In this time many things occurred, people quit, others left the server, we took on a boatload of new members, content went down faster than drunk college girl in my bed, but really I'm getting off my initial subject. For example, procrastination kept us from ravaging an easy mob like the Mining Behemoth for months. Once we finally tried it and beat it on our second attempt, the guild collectively kicked itself for waiting such a long time to put it in rotation. Now, it gets tackled every time it's up faster than John Elway. The behemoth though isn't the only victim of Ascending Dawn; so many other things have fallen as of late before our mighty swords and spell slingers, for example: Still our thirst for conquest and control of Zek can not be satisfied by the death of unruly mobs alone. With our newly obtained forces, we continue to dominate what this server was made for, PVP. Sure, Pandefiant goes on incessantly about how far ahead they are in Meldrath's, etc, etc etc. Luckily, this isn't a blue server otherwise that would actually mean something to us. So let them continue to kill mobs that we haven't reached yet, as we remain true kings of the battlefield and continue to stomp our enemies all over Norrath.
We've also, since the very long ago last update, have cleared almost all of Solteris.

The result of this constant farming is more loot than Bakamaf could imagine whoring even if he were looting with both hands and those grubby dwarf toes. Ironically mostly the same loot drops every single time (thank you broken random loot engines.) In that time we also took a swing at and dominated 3 of the 4 Living Legacy events for a time. However, we got too self assured, and the end results spoke for themselves. This didn't bring us down though and we continue to strive, fight the good fight and decimate our enemies wherever they happen to be. If you happen to see a Pandefiant guild member running for their lives, it's probably because a member of Ascending Dawn is closing in for the kill. And when you return, watch for a new update, showing Bloodmoon 2/3, SpindleCrack, 2 Gods 1 Cup, Big Bynn and all your other favorites in our favorite form, face down ass up, treasure chest by the butt. Now, we here at Ascending Dawn are not only blood thirsty hardcore raiders, we also tend to have fun sometimes, here's a few examples: If you're interested, we're always looking for a few new bodies to contribute to the chaos and you can follow the links above to our forums and read up on our application process. |
